GHG were contracted by Buildcorp to undertake the reconstruction of Bicentennial and Scarborough Parks within the Cook Cove business and recreation development. The complete scope of works included the following:
Supply and installation of a complete subsurface irrigation system to five sportsfields and one baseball field with three 45,000 tanks and two separate pumping stations.
Supply, delivery and installation of approximately 14,000 tonnes of turf growing medium to a total area of approximately 66,000m2 using laser equipped graders and tractor mounted laser blades.
The supply, delivery and laying of approximately 65,000m2 of kikuyu turf maxi-rolls.
An establishment period of 8 weeks and a maintenance period of 13 weeks.
The project required strict product testing and certification processes that were diligently followed.
