Green Horticultural Group were appointed by Turnpoint Pty Ltd to undertake a large spreading project at Randwick Racecourse on the all purpose bark/sand track.

The scope of works involved spreading 800m3 of a specialised blend of bark fines and washed sand.  This blend was designed specifically for this site and was required to be spread over the entire area in a matter of 16 hours.

Our highly specialised spreading vehicles were specifically requested for this project as they were equipped with the following unique features:

• Fully computerised to ensure accurate spread rate;
• Calibrated scales to ensure exact weights and measures;
• Balloon tyres to minimise surface impact whilst spreading;
• Large bin capacity enabling a spread of 400m3 per day.

These vehicles are capable of spreading a vast range of materials including sand, topdressing, mulch, ameliorants, composts and fertilisers.

Our experienced and competent operators are highly regarded for their diligence and professional standard of work.  All staff are fully trained and receive regular updated training to adhere to current OH&S and Environmental Legislation.
